This song is about my best friends wife's vibrator. There are three things wrong here. She named her vibrator. Two she named it after a girl, and three we wrote a ballad about it. Not to serious of a song, but everyone seems to enjoy it. Peace

i really love the music in this track, i think the lighter sound (compared to your earlier tracks) works really well. if not for your explanation of it, i'd have thought it was a "serious" song. oh, and the fourth thing wrong -- why do you know enough about it to write a song about it?

Whatever reason you wrote it...it's a good sound, very melodic, but dark too. Love the guitar solo. Emotional stuff.

i hear that's what the jefferson starship song was about too...you guys ripped them off...just kidding.
not to go against the grain too much, but i actually found the song more enjoyable given the explanation. best part of the song is the little walk-up section when you hit that dissonant chord - right before the captain crunch section.
liked the little passing note riff from the bassplayer after the first chorus. thought you could sneak that little nice note by me didn't you mr bass player...oh no, i heard it...man this wine is tasting good.

Nice ballad... but a vibrator? The vocals seem a bit buried, but it could just be the years of my cranking amps up that have them sort of fried.
Still... its a very nice tune.
Oh yeah... you're breaking into the little staccato rhythm with the moaning vocals... too cool!

I really like how it starts slow and builds to a climax. (Somebody had to say it.) The guitar/bass interaction in the minor parts in the middle are great, and the rave-up is cool. And I never would have guessed about the lyrics, the vocals are great--totally strait-faced.

Okay...first, this is a lovely ballad. Second, I can't help but think of your "muse" and find myself grinning. Thirdly, I want to think of this as a serious love song....but I keep grinning. Good melody, driving rhythm, guitar work...but it's still funny!

I agree with Rodricas comments.. It has a real dark underfeel to it which I love. I never read your comments about why it was written till after my first listen so I heard it just as a song. I think this is one of the best songs I've heard lately. Even my wife likes it, and that takes some doing. The guitar solo took me by surprise... Really lifted it... Great solo and great song

Woo woo doo doo doo. If you didn't know the background of this song you wouldn't ever guess that it wasn't a serious song. It definately has that torch song feel.

I love the whole feel of the song. It makes me think of my ex. for some reason, this song kinda of reminded me of the Stone Temple Pilots song," Creep". That guitar solo was hott. Excellent song..
